This Privacy Policy explains how PickleCraft ("PickleCraft," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, the PickleCraft web app, and the PickleCraft iOS app (together, the "Service").

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we (through our authentication provider, Clerk) collect your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information. Coaches and students may also add a profile photo and role (coach, student, club).

Training data. Drills you create or save, sessions and classes you build or are assigned, your DUPR skill level and rating range, and your training activity and progress history.

Video and media. If you record or upload lesson videos or other media within the app, that content is stored securely on our infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) and shared only with the coaches, students, or groups you choose to share it with.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy and security practices.

Usage and device data. We use Datadog to collect diagnostic and analytics data such as app performance, crash reports, device type, and general usage patterns, so we can find and fix problems and improve the Service.

How We Use Information

  • To provide and operate the Service, including your account, drills, sessions, and coach-student connections.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To personalize your experience, such as filtering drills to your DUPR level or generating AI-assisted drill and session recommendations.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
  • To monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), and Datadog (monitoring and analytics). Each accesses only the information needed to perform its function.
  • Other users you interact with, such as a coach you're connected to or a class/group you're a member of — limited to what's needed for that relationship to work (e.g., a coach sees the training activity of their own students).
  • Legal or safety reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PickleCraft, our users, or the public.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing team@picklecraft.ai. We'll respond and complete verified deletion requests within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain certain information for legal, billing, or security reasons.

Children's Privacy

PickleCraft is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If a coach, club, or parent creates or manages an account in connection with a minor's training, the adult account holder is responsible for that minor's use of the Service. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at team@picklecraft.ai and we will address it.

Your Choices

You can review and update your account information from within the app. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing team@picklecraft.ai.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable third-party infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
